Monika regularly shares photos in our Facebook group but in case you haven’t visited, I wanted to share a couple here. About the photo above she writes:
I saw this out of the corner of my eye last August and gasped! Since then, I’ve been determined to get the shot but being 3 hours from home, I chose to wait until my autumn color tour. I’m as pleased as punch about it as it was a sketchy, tree filled drone flight in but I HAD to get the waterfalls in back and in front of the train trestle.

thank you for this interesting and now colorful website. Letting the viewer know WHERE in MI these pictures were taken in better detail – like a simple map would enhance the experience a lot. Thanks.

Hey thanks – I didn’t mention that the top pic was from near L’Anse. I don’t know where exactly so you’d have to click through and ask the photographer. The second has the location though: Sturgeon River near Canyon Falls. I don’t usually provide coordinates or even directions – just try and give you enough to let you discover the rest! Believe it or not this is kind of a lot of work for more or less no money and I’ve done it pretty faithfully for nearly 30 years

Wow – our few trees here in SE Michigan finally popping their colors pales in comparison to these beauties!

Yeah I know. I did see some gorgeous color by St Florian’s in Hamtramck the other day though!
