That looks as if the photo was taken facing west toward Lake Michigan. If so, wouldn’t that be a sunset rather then a sunrise? No matter what, it’s beautiful. Thanks for sharing. :)

Solid detective skills Gary, but it’s taken on West Grand Traverse Bay. I’ve seen sunrise from this angle before as I lived a couple blocks from John!! (the sun sets on the other side of the Bay)
