Kevin says that Google suggests this mushroom is amanita flavoconia, putting it squarely in the “look but probably better not eat” category.

  2. In German these are called “fliegen Pilz”..or houseflies mushroom..you slice it, spread sugar on it.. the houseflies come, eat the sugar and die. Probably more than you wanted to know..
