Your beautiful photo of Lilacs bring back memories of my grandmothers massive garden One quarter section was filled with every variety of Lilac that could grow in Okemos,Ardmore road. The perfume from them was beyond belief – and the bees loved them. Here in CA they have a variety what doesn’t need a cold spell, but the blooms are few and far between. I could purchase a bunch at the local Ralphs – but no, that is where I stop. I’ll just close my eyes and relive my grandmothers home garden!
