There’s all kinds of celebrity guests at the 2008 North American International Auto Show, including the Mach 5 race car from the forthcoming Speed Racer movie (May 2008). The movie is by Larry and Andy Wachowski (The Matrix) and I have to say that the trailer looks frighteningly fun.

speed Racer’s probably the dumbest movie ever made. What are the Wachowski’s thinking ? They’ve done nothing original since the Matrix, .. that is if that’s their original IP. Starting to look like it’s not since they’ve done nothing different since then. And, their previous movies pre-matrix were cult flops. Why create a gas guzzling race car movie when we’re at War, and gas/oil is central to this energy crisis. I bet they were bought by Auto and Oil Corporations.
Yeah, they’re just one trick ponies.
