  1. AH – I live just across the river from the Eckert Power Station, and these towers figure in many of my night shots. But I’ve never been on the tracks on the north side of the river. Very nice…

  2. I actually took this shot from where the tracks cross Washington Ave. There’s a nice view of the backside of the plant from there. I was lucky that a train passed by just as I was setting up my shot.

    These towers really dominate the Lansing skyline. I remember as kid knowing that when I saw these towers I was home.

  3. Great shot! I spent many nights with my trusty Nikon taking time exposures without getting anything as nice as this. It makes me want to put away the digital camera and take the tripod out into the night again.
