UPDATE – NOVEMBER 20, 2015 – The Detroit Tigers have acquired (or re-acquired) outfielder Cameron Maybin from the Atlanta Braves. Also, of interest only to me, this was the 100th post on Michigan in Pictures from March of 2016!

It’s a sunny morning in March in Michigan – a perfect time to head to Florida for a little dose of Spring Training!

Peggy offers some great shots including this one of Cameron Maybin and another of new Tiger skipper Jim Leyland & Andy Van Slyke. She reports that it was a great day for a game, and the Tigers (split squad) beat the Toronto Blue Jays!

The Detroit Tigers web site reports that 10 Tigers are playing in the World Baseball Classic and also that over 500 pieces from the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown, N.Y., will be on display at the Henry Ford Museum from TODAY (March 11) through September 5, 2006 as part of the Baseball as America exhibit.
