One of the difficult things for me when first linking to work from a photographer is deciding what’s the “best” (or at least most representative) piece of a selection of their work to show as an introduction. Then, after agonizing for far too long between this photo and that photo, I remember that this is my blog and I am free to highlight whatever I want.

In photographer Kevin Neff’s really excellent photoblog/gallery, thereisnohappyhere.org, he says he’s currently living in Howell and that he shoots all film not because of any film vs digital belief, but simply because it’s more fun. On Kevin’s professional site, you can see a lot more work (including great portraits). In the comments, Kevin tells a little more about the photo above.
