McLain State Park Snowshoeing by Nathan Miller
The Keweenaw Road Commission shared last week that they’ve recorded over 300 inches of snow this winter. The 25 feet of snow is about 6 feet more than normal. While that’s definitely a whole lot, it’s 356 inches of snow recorded in the winter of 1978–79.

I was thinking that we had similar snow falls when I was in college in the late 70s at Lake Superior State. I didn’t realize it had been so long! Great photo BTW

Amazing!
Since I’m from the area in upstate New York that gets similar amounts of snow to this – the Tug Hill plateau region, I can attest to just how massive amount of snow that this is in Michigan. :)
Currently, I live in Southern Oregon + have snowmobiled near Crater Lake – where they get this kind of snow. It is always just amazing to see so much snow.
