Robert writes: A small rolling wave on Little Traverse Bay / Petoskey State Park. I've often wanted to capture the graceful curl of a Lake Michigan wave. Nothing dramatic; nothing crashing on shore — just the waves that lap at my feet as I walk the beach. Then combine the wave with the patterns of light on the sand below the surface. A mix of great lakes magic.

This is wonderful! It’s so hot here right now and I’m imagining myself in that photo. Lovely.

You say it’s nothing dramatic, but wow, I gotta disagree. Who knew waves turned into Italian glass sculptures when you stop time?

Love the pics. This one and the shot from Sleeping Bear Dunes are my favorites.
